Over time you may want to start using more like a shared network path for external files, so if you do network rendering the servers can easily grab the files they need. on a second drive (D: for me) with the same file path for now around 15 years. Make sure you have ample space for this new drive so you won't be doing the procedure all over again any time soon.įor this very reason I've always had my shaders/textures etc. After that just copy all your textures into said folder/drive. Once the new partition is made, you will assign it as the new folder, which of course should appear as the old folder. If you already have your backup drive installed (which obviously you do) you'll need to make a new partition for this procedure. I have already done this before on the older laptop, but it is not working on the new one. ![]() I already search tutorials or other similar cases in the forum, but nothing to do. Then make a new folder with the same name you were using. Hello I had some issues with all types of transparent materials or 2sided materials. ![]() It needs to be an empty folder though, so you'll need to re name the current folder you're using. ![]() ![]() How about this? Windows has an option in Management/Disk Management that, instead of assigning a drive a letter, it can be seen as a folder.
